For the purpose of developing students’ artistic and imaginative skills, a workshop is launched with a subsequent photographic contest aimed at young people from 4 schools in Taltal.

The project foresees a workshop and photography contest to be held in person in four schools and in the district’s cultural center. The objective of the workshop will be to learn photographic techniques, which program will include a guided excursion on a route of tourist and heritage interest in Taltal, allowing participants to have the opportunity to take photographs of scenery, flora, fauna, architecture, or elements that reflect Taltal’s identity, culture, tradition, or local environment.

After collecting all this material, students will be able to submit their photographs to the contest, which will have two categories of winners: 12 to 14 years old and 15 to 16 years old.

The workshop/contest will be disseminated in person in 4 schools in Taltal, where the participants will register for the course.

An exhibition of all the participating photographs is also contemplated, to be held in a space provided by the municipality of Taltal and in the company's corporate building in Santiago.
