The Workshop on the Rights and Obligations of Electrical Product and Service Consumers is positioned as an initiative focused on informing and advising residents on topics related to the rights and obligations of electrical products and service consumers and users.
This initiative is carried out under the "access, quality, and equality" line of work to guarantee greater transparency in the electrical distribution industry. The project teaches participants about Law No. 19,496 on consumer rights protection and its respective modifications, DFL No. 4 / 20,018 on electrical services in Chile and its regulations, and finally, Law No. 21,340, which provides exceptional measures for the end users of water, electricity, and gas services.
This information is a vital part of the workshop that was given in 21 communities around the Metropolitan Region, with the participation of 400 people from our concession area during 2021, helping promote our customers' proactive role with the company and establishing open lines of communication.
