Together with the Municipality of Diego de Almagro, the importance of disseminating knowledge about renewable energies as a strategic factor for the country's energy sustainability has been shared. To this end, a physical space for informing about renewable energies has been remodeled in the city center. The Municipality made available a 110 m2 hangar, which Enel Green Power enabled internally.
Once the CIDER is inaugurated, an education and training program will be developed aimed at institutional representatives, teachers, students from technical schools, and citizens of Diego de Almagro. The main themes will be:
- For institutional representatives and civil society: renewable energy and energy efficiency.
- For teachers and students: practical assembly and operation of solar installations, and visits to the plants.
In addition, the training of a renewable energy monitor is programmed who would carry out the guided tour for visitors to the CIDER.
