As a result of resettlement, families should have had access to cultural assets that would enhance the development of their human capital. Through this initiative, this gap is under restoration, diagnosed following performance standard No. 5 of the International Finance Corporation-IFC.
In 2019, the project adapted a three-wheeled electric cart as a library capable of containing various collections of children's and youth literature and, at the same time, travelling through the nine neighborhoods where resettled families now dwell. The itinerant vehicle has its facade painted with various illustrations and motifs associated with reading promotion, which make this mobile electric library a unique space in its class and very striking in the eyes of children who will be attracted to reading.
The Electric Travelling Library has been operational since the end of 2019 and generated a cycle of reading promotion activities in December 2019-January 2020. It will resume its tours of the neighborhoods of resettled families once the health emergency is over.
