This project conducted in the municipality of La Florida consists of replacing and maintaining 16,815 new LED luminaires. The energy efficiency of the new fixtures will save 37% of the energy consumed.
Currently, the old luminaires have an energy consumption of 27.8 kWh, while with the replacement by LED luminaires, the consumption would decrease to 15.2 KWh, representing a saving of 4.6 MWh per year. In addition, the replacement process provides an opportunity to take advantage of the materiality of the 16,815 sodium and metal halide luminaires through circular initiatives that generate value. This 150 thousand kilograms of aluminum and plastic can be reused in other installations or recycled.
The project also includes installing remote management nodes in a set of 100 luminaires to be defined by the municipality.
