Since 2020, Enel Chile has developed the "Circular Coffees", periodic meetings where employees and experts, both internal and external to the company, meet to learn and reflect on topics that contribute to solving the challenges of moving towards a circular economy.
In 2021, more than 350 employees from different business lines convened in a total of 7 sessions, where more than 15 experts participated in the topics proposed by the circular economy referents of each line, such as Circular Flow of Materials, Circular Cities, Green Hydrogen, Decarbonization, Chile's Circular Economy Roadmap, Circular Suppliers, among others.
The 2022 version had the participation of 300 internal collaborators, reaching an overall participation of more than 700 colleagues in its three versions. This year's themes were: E-waste: valorization of electronic waste; Circular design and decommissioning; Circular economy in architecture and construction; Solutions for transforming waste into new resources and Nanotechnology: a solution to environmental problems.
These opportunities for conversation have enriched the corporate culture and stimulated the improvement of internal processes.
