Los Molles Hydroelectric Power Plant

The Los Molles power plant is owned by Enel Generación Chile S.A. and is located on Route D557 Km 35, Montepatria, Coquimbo Region. Its construction began in 1947 as part of the country's electrification plan during the government of President Gabriel González Videla. This hydroelectric power plant is one of the oldest in the country, as is the Abanico Hydroelectric Power Plant (1948), among others. It has an installed capacity of 18 MW.
