El Toro Hydroelectric Power Plant

The El Toro power plant is owned by Enel Generación Chile S.A. and is located 90 km. east of Los Ángeles, Biobío Region.

It is a civil engineering work, becoming a milestone, the first power plant with a subway powerhouse in the country. In this sense, its construction process, the complexity of the works involved and the large number of human personnel who participated in it stand out. It has an installed capacity of 449 MW.
