About Uber

Uber's mission is to create opportunities through movement. We started in 2010 to solve a simple problem: how do you get a ride at the push of a button? More than 10 billion rides later, we've developed products that bring people closer to their destination. By changing how people, food and objects move around cities, Uber is a platform that opens the world to new possibilities. Uber arrived in Chile in January 2014 and today connects users and driver partners from Arica to Punta Arenas, with products such as UberX, UberX SCL, Uber Comfort, Uber Black, Uber Kids, UberXL, Uber Flash and Uber Taxi.
