Santiago, September 26, 2019.- Enel Generación Chile's Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Valter Moro from the company's general management effective October 1, 2019. He will be replaced by the current thermal generation manager, Michele Siciliano, who will assume his new position on October 1, 2019.
The Chairman of Enel Generación Chile’s Board of Directors, Giuseppe Conti, thanked Valter Moro for his work of the past 5 years and wished him success in his new challenge at the Enel Group where he will assume a global position: “I especially appreciate his deep commitment to the Company’s objectives, always in the interest of all shareholders, which has allowed us to maintain a leading position in the generation market in times of many changes, always integrating sustainability in the Company’s chain of value.
Michele Siciliano is a mechanical engineer from the Universitá degli Studi Della Calabria with more than 20 years of experience in executive positions in a national and international context. With 18 years in the Enel Group, he has been the thermal generation manager of Enel Generación Chile since 2016. He was previously in charge of the generation in Enel Brasil after having held various executive positions in Italy.
