Pedro Urzúa holds a degree in Journalism from the Universidad de Artes y Ciencias de la Comunicación (UNIACC).
Between 1994 and 2006, he held public office as Chief of Staff of the Ministries of Planning and Mining.
From 2006 to 2012, he worked at the National Petroleum Company (ENAP) as the Director of Communications of Enap Sipetrol and then as the Director of Corporate Affairs. In 2012, he was also the Director of the Fundación Acción RSE.
In November 2012, he joined the Enel Group as the Manager of Institutional Affairs for Chile and the Andean Countries for Enel Green Power (EGP), then he served as Institutional Relations Manager of Enel Chile. He is currently director of the San Ignacio de Huinay Foundation, director of the Chilean Chapter of the World Energy Council (WEC), and director of the Chilean-Argentine Chamber of Commerce.
On April 1, 2024, he assumed the position of Manager of External Relations and Sustainability of Enel Chile, which brings together the areas of Institutional Relations, Communications and Sustainability.
