Hernán Valenzuela is a Civil Electrical Engineer from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and holds a Master's degree in Regulation from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
He is a professional with extensive experience in the electricity sector, holding different positions related to the market and regulation of the electricity system. He has worked for the National Electric Coordinator and the National Energy Commission. In the academic field, he was a part-time professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of Universidad Santa María.
He joined Enel Generación Chile in 2018 and as of November 2020 took over as Regulation Manager. Subsequently, in September 2024 he was appointed Regulation Manager at Enel Chile, a position he currently holds.
