Elisabetta Barberi is a PMO of Projects for the improvement plan in Latin America and other countries where ENEL operates. Born in Rome in 1970, she holds a degree in Economics from La Sapienza University in Rome. In 1995, shortly after graduating, she began working at one of the leading global auditing firms, Arthur Andersen, where she became a senior auditor for Enel. After joining Enel in 1999, Barberi developed her professional career in the Administration area, becoming the Head of Administration for the Enel Green Power Group in 2008.
In 2010, she participated in the initial public offering of Enel Green Power on the Italian Stock Exchange. Later, in 2015, she was responsible for Administration, Finance, and Global Control Processes and Systems, and in 2018, she gained experience in management control as the Head of Planning and Control for the central functions of the Enel Group. Since 2020, she has primarily held positions related to the international scope, and in 2022, she became the Chief Financial Officer of Slovenské Elektrárne, the main energy company in Slovakia. Barberi is also a board member of Enel Generación Chile and Slovenské Elektrárne.
Elisabetta is married and has one son. She enjoys playing paddle tennis and doing Pilates. She is also passionate about road trips and reading.
