Donata Susca is currently the Global Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality for Enel Green Power & Thermal Generation, the Enel business line responsible for the generation of electricity.
Susca leads an international, multidisciplinary team from more than 20 countries all sharing the same objective: ZERO occupational and environmental accidents. Moreover, she also manages the global HSEQ activities relating to the Business Line’s entire scope of operations, from the construction of new renewable facilities - wind, solar, and batteries - to operating the existing fleet, including decommissioning and environmental remediation of sites to be decommissioned, focusing also on net-zero activities, as well as those relating to the conservation of nature and biodiversity.
Since 2003, she has held different roles in a variety of areas within Enel, starting with Enel ICT, e-Distribution with responsibility for operational excellence, energy efficiency and network development in Italy; for Global I&N, where she was responsible for global network development including Totex allocation management as well as procurement and materials management; for the Enel Grids division she was Head of Global Procurement and then went on to become responsible for Network Development, with the objective of redefining the evolving role of network development and of Totex allocation.
Previously, she worked at Heera for 5 years as an organization expert and was involved in strategic consulting for 8 years.
She graduated with a first-class honors degree in Business Administration from the University of Bari in 1990, and in 1991 earned a Master's in Business Administration (specializing in Organization and BPR).
