Carlo Carvallo Artigas has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad de Chile, along with a Graduate Certificate in Applied Economics with a concentration in Natural Resources and the Environment, from the Universidad Católica de Chile and a Graduate Certificate in Electricity Markets from the Universidad del Desarrollo.
Between 2005 and 2016, Mr. Carvallo took on responsibilities as the Assistant Manager of different areas: Maintenance Management; Hydraulic Power Plants in the South; Technical Services; and Hydraulic Production and Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (NCRE) in Chile. Later, and up until 2019, he was named the Hydraulic Generation Manager for Enel Generación Chile S.A., also acting between 2015 and 2020, as the CEO of Empresa Eléctrica Pehuenche S.A.
He has also been a director and CEO of the company Central Eólica Canela S.A., and director for the companies Centrales Hidroeléctricas de Aysén S.A. and GasAtacama Chile.
From 2019 to 2021, he worked as the Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality for Argentina and Chile, once again named as the Hydraulic Generation Manager for Enel Generación Chile S.A. in September 2021.
