Its primary business is to invest in subsidiaries and affiliated companies whose business is to exploit, develop, operate, generate, distribute, transform and/or sell energy in any form or nature. Its total assets amount to Ch$12,700,039 million as of June 30, 2024. Enel Chile S.A. owns 93.55% of Enel Generación Chile, 99.09% of Enel Distribución Chile, 100% of Enel Green Power Chile and 100% of Enel X Chile.

Enel Generación Chile

Enel Generación Chile is the leader of the Chilean electricity sector and its primary business is the production and transport of electrical energy. Another objective of the company is to provide consulting services, conduct investments in financial assets, carry out projects and activities in the energy field and in other fields where electrical energy is essential, and also participate in concessions of public works infrastructure in civil or hydraulic fields. Its total assets amount to Ch$4,601,981 million as of June 30, 2024.
